| Artist Than Win Tun was born in 1948, in A-nee-Kait Village near Bago. Studied under art
masters - U.M.Tin Aye, U Myat Kyaw, U Aung Thwin, U Thein Han, U Kyi and U Lun Gywe. Obtained Diploma of Art from the State School of
Fine Arts (Yangon) (decorated U Ngwe Gaing award). More than fifty Sayadaws, including Pya Pon Min Kyaung. Shwe Bo Myatheintan and Mandalay
Shwebonthar were Sculptured by him. He has participated in more than 20 Art Exhibitions since 1965. |
